Position: Metal Fabrication Specialist

Location: Blandford

Compensation: Up to £650 weekly

Are you an adept MIG or TIG fabricator seeking a new opportunity? Alternatively, do you have a passion for welding and wish to transition into a professional role? We are currently supporting various enterprises in North Dorset as they seek skilled metal fabricators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MIG welding for substantial, heavy-duty projects
  • Managing multiple projects concurrently, each differing in scale and significance
  • Conducting basic inspections of completed components
  • Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols
  • Performing general housekeeping duties

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in welding (MIG) or fabrication, whether in a professional setting or as a hobby
  • Ability to comprehend technical drawings and interpret safety guidelines, specifications, and manuals
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Residing within a reasonable distance from the job site, as relocation is not feasible
  • Consistent work history with references available
