Job Description:
PKF Smith Cooper's Corporate Finance team is known for being a market-leading advisory team, specialising in mergers and acquisitions. We are seeking a skilled Transaction Advisory Director to join our team in Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, with excellent commercial and financial acumen. They will lead and manage transactions, liaise with stakeholders, and support deal origination. The successful candidate will also undertake financial analysis, including valuations and private equity returns models, and build relationships with the M&A community.

A key aspect of this role will be to work closely with clients, providing high-quality service and building long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects and driving business growth.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus bonus culture based on delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* ACA, CFQ or ACCA qualified
* Experience within M&A from a reputable IB/CF Boutique/Professional Services firm within an Advisory team
* Strong commercial and financial acumen; operating strategically but with attention to detail
* Proven time and project management skills
* Spreadsheet/modelling experience and a logical, analytical mind
* Exceptional communication skills, including clear succinct report writing

Job Requirements:
- Managing and leading transactions
- Liaising with transaction stakeholders
- Supporting on transaction strategy and negotiations
- Supporting the senior team in deal origination
- Commercial analysis of individual businesses
- Undertaking financial analysis
- Building and maintaining relationships with the M&A community
