Exciting Opportunity for a Group Financial Accountant

Sharp Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Group Financial Accountant to join our team at a leading international manufacturer based in Sheffield. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your career within a global business that has recently completed an international acquisition.

As a Group Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing financial operations, providing accurate financial reporting, and analysis to enable informed decision-making at the senior management level. This position is ideal for a standout individual ready to make their first move out of practice into an international group of companies entering their next phase of development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the production and consolidation of group management accounts and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines.
  • Prepare and approve group statutory accounts, ensuring full compliance with government regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement group annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Consolidate and review group weekly cash flow forecasting processes.
  • Reconcile management reporting information, including managing process improvements to facilitate statutory adjustments (IFRS 15 / IFRS 16 etc).
  • Implement software across all group entities.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Experience of Financial Reporting and application of IFRS Accounting Standards
