Key Responsibilities:

  • Addressing partner queries regarding pay and tax affairs, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions.
  • Calculating partner net of tax drawings allowances and setting payments, maintaining compliance with tax regulations.
  • Managing partner promotions and changes, ensuring seamless transitions and updates.
  • Preparing partner tax reserves, associated journals, personal tax returns, and tax payments to HMRC, maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
  • Reviewing partner tax balances and releasing tax reserve balances post-tax year closure, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Tax planning for partners, including pension contribution relief, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Handling departing partners and settling current account balances, maintaining a professional and discreet approach.

Requirements:

  • Qualified by experience or ATT qualified, with a strong background in personal tax.
  • Significant experience in personal tax, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficient in Excel and CCH personal tax software, with the ability to process large volumes of data quickly and accurately.
  • High levels of confidentiality, discretion, and diplomacy, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
