About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Operations network, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety programs to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety procedures and protocols.
  • Analyze safety metrics and incident trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ5 level or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Experience in workplace health and safety (WHS) related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
