We're looking for a technically strong individual to join our Financial Services Accounting and Corporate Reporting Advisory team as a Director. The role involves supporting the team's Leader in delivering quality and growth strategy.

The successful candidate will have broad experience of accounting and corporate reporting issues prevalent in insurance from an entity-facing background, with a proven ability to scope, win, and deliver complex projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Scope, win, and deliver complex accounting and corporate reporting advisory projects
  • Plan, control, and complete diverse range of projects adhering to firm and departmental policy on quality and risk management
  • Present information clearly and concisely
  • Influence, lead, engage, and manage stakeholders
  • Manage time effectively and organise tasks efficiently
  • Lead people and manage quality and risk reviews within an ISQM 1 environment
  • Deliver accounting and corporate reporting advice to clients in the insurance sector
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant technical standards and laws

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification of ACA or ACCA or equivalent
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and organisation skills
  • Previous people management experience
  • Positive outcomes from quality and risk reviews
  • Experience in delivery of accounting and corporate reporting advice
