As a Teaching Assistant at Teaching Personnel, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional support to schools and students. Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons, ensuring students receive a high-quality education.
  • Support students with varying learning needs, including those with special educational requirements, to promote equal access to the curriculum.
  • Help maintain a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere, encouraging active participation and engagement from all students.
  • Prepare and organize teaching materials, equipment, and resources to enhance lesson delivery, minimizing distractions and maximizing learning opportunities.
  • Participate in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities as required, contributing to a vibrant and dynamic school community.
  • Offer administrative support to the class teacher and school as needed, helping to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in supporting teaching and learning in a primary school setting.
  • A strong understanding of the Primary curriculum, effective teaching strategies, and child development principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with children, with a commitment to their welfare and education.

Salary Estimate: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
