We are a global workforce solutions firm, AMS CWS, enabling organisations to thrive in an age of constant change. We are looking for a Supplier Manufacturing Engineer for a 12-month contract based in various sites across the UK on behalf of a globally respected client developing cutting-edge technologies.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified or experienced Manufacturing Engineer with communication and stakeholder management skills to join our team as a Supplier Manufacturing Engineer. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, validating, maintaining, and continuously improving manufacturing processes and methods of manufacture in the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, validate, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and methods of manufacture in the supply chain.
  • Capture, analyse, and use data to demonstrate and improve the current and future capability of manufacturing processes and identification of improvement opportunities.
  • Proactively access internal and external networks of technical communities and functional teams to ensure fulfilment and realisation of the product intent.
  • Support the investigation and resolution of product and supplier technical problems with the application and use of appropriate tools.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes and technologies to meet or exceed current or future requirements.

Requirements:
  • Suitably qualified or experienced Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Communication and stakeholder management skills with a strong positive attitude.
  • Technical experience of complex manufacturing, preferably within Aerospace or a related field, covering a range of process disciplines.
  • Working knowledge and experience of industry and Manufacturing Engineering processes and tools is highly desirable.

Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
