Senior Analytics Engineering Lead - Data Architect

We're making strides in simplifying traditional banking at Monzo, and data plays a crucial role in our mission. As a Senior Analytics Engineering Lead - Data Architect, you will contribute to designing and scaling data models that measure product performance and engagement. You will work closely with tech organisations across Monzo to prioritise internationalisation, from gathering requirements to making trade-offs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a data architect for Monzo's EU expansion, contributing to the design and scalability of data models that measure the performance and engagement of our product suite.
  • Collaborating closely with the rest of the tech organisation across Monzo to prioritise internationalisation from gathering requirements to making the appropriate trade-offs.
  • Developing robust data models downstream of backend services, primarily in BigQuery, to enable internal reporting, machine learning, as well as financial and regulatory use cases.

This role can be based in our London or Cardiff offices, but we're open to distributed working within the UK (with ad hoc meetings in London).
