Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team in Peterborough. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing hands-on reactive and preventative maintenance across the factory to ensure equipment reliability and maximize uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and maximize uptime.
  • Adhere to industry-standard engineering practices for food and operator safety.
  • Schedule and conduct high-standard machinery maintenance, including servicing, repairs, and inspections, with thorough documentation and hygienic handovers.
  • Manage and maintain plant systems such as boilers and air compressors.
  • Contribute to machinery design, upgrades, installation, and relocations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to enhance efficiency and reduce losses.
  • Conduct risk assessments before maintenance work to ensure safety.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain a clean as you go approach.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, ONC, City and Guilds, or 17th/18th edition.
  • 1 year experience working in Food & Beverage Manufacturing.
  • Comfortable working amongst a team.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication, with strong computer skills.
