The Role: HGV Class 2 Driver

We are currently seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our dynamic team in Dundee. This is an ongoing opportunity with the potential for permanent roles for the right candidates.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver palletized parcels to various locations, including sub-depots and individual sites.
  • Safely operate a tail lift or pump truck to handle pallets efficiently.
  • Assist with the unloading of parcels into designated areas such as sheds and garages.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prioritize timely and secure delivery of goods while adhering to all relevant regulations.
  • Conduct thorough safety and operational assessments before each shift.

Your Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.
  • Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on your driving licence.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation.
  • Proven ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment safely and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • A proactive safety-first mindset and adherence to all relevant regulations.
