Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to lead our residential childcare team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our homes, providing a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of colleagues to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents, ensuring they achieve key life and independent skills.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the home, including staff supervision, training, and recruitment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Collaborate with other teams to provide a seamless service to our residents and their families.
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted-rated home with a Good or Outstanding rating.
- Experience of working with children and young people with challenging behaviors, including mental health and behavioral problems.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent knowledge of current legislation, including the Children's Homes England Regulations, Quality Standards, and the Children's Act.
