About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Service Officer to join our team at SAUL Trustee Company. As a key member of our Executive Management Team, you will play a critical role in the strategy, governance, and management of our Trustee Company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our company's strategy and governance framework.
  • Lead and manage the Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Member Administration, Data Reconciliations, and Payroll teams to ensure high-quality services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor compliance and reporting, ensuring that our company meets all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Operational ownership of our Universal Pensions Management (UPM) system, ensuring effective services are delivered to our members and participating employers.
  • Lead, coach, and develop staff and managers in your teams to realize their potential and contribute to our company's overall success.
  • Monitor complaints, feedback, and compliments to address opportunities for improvement and ensure high-quality services are delivered.
  • Ensure detailed knowledge and understanding of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension administration calculations, processes, and systems, with a preference for extensive understanding of pension platforms (specifically UPM).
  • Effective management of departmental budgets and resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Industry qualifications, such as Associate of the Pensions Management Institute (APMI) or equivalent, are highly desirable.
  • Detailed understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and the implications of non-compliance.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on people and values, to support and develop other members of staff and line managers.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills to ensure effective delivery of services and achievement of business objectives.

  • Permanent, full-time position, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

SAUL Trustee Company is a great place to work, whether you're a pensions specialist, an HR professional, or an IT whizz. We're a friendly team of around 60 people who work part of the week from home and at least two days each week in our central London office.
