About the Role:

As a Room Leader, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and education to young children, while also developing and maintaining strong relationships with parents and other professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your leadership skills, creativity, and dedication to making a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and motivate a team to provide outstanding care and education
  2. Develop and maintain a stimulating learning environment across both indoor and outdoor areas
  3. Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding
  4. Maintain a positive, happy and safe environment for all children and staff
  5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve high-quality care and education standards

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, or similar
  • A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements
