Condition Monitoring Engineer

As a Condition Monitoring Engineer, you will play a critical role in the reliability and performance of our clients' machinery and equipment. Your responsibilities will include on-site data collection, analysis, and reporting of condition monitoring data using advanced techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.

You will also be responsible for mentoring less experienced technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards, and maintaining strong communication with clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Recognised apprenticeship preferred
  • HNC/HND in a technology or engineering field preferred
  • Certifications: Vibration Analysis Category 3, or industry equivalent
Required Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of machinery fundamentals (pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, etc.)
  • Detailed knowledge of data acquisition techniques using vibration analysers, ultrasound, infrared cameras, and motor testing equipment
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical condition monitoring technologies
Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 3 years of directly related experience in condition monitoring and reliability engineering
