Camp Manager Role Overview
At Camp Beaumont, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Manager to lead our multi-activity day camps for children aged 3-14 years. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our camps, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
About the Role:
As a Camp Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of staff to deliver engaging and safe activities for children
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the camp, including staff supervision, risk management, and customer service
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and Camp Beaumont policies
- Collaborating with other departments to achieve business objectives
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Over 18 years old
- Available to work during school holidays
- UK/EU citizenship with the right to work in the UK
- Experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team
- Bags of energy and enthusiasm
- Passion for working with children
- High level of safeguarding awareness
- Paediatric first aid qualification (desirable)
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare (early years, QTS/PGCE) or studying towards a relevant childcare qualification
