Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Professional to join our client's finance team in central Gloucester. This permanent role will involve working closely with the management team to maintain accurate financial records, process invoices and payments, and provide financial reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports, reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Enter financial data into accounting software with high accuracy, generate profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other relevant reports.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls, supporting internal and external audits as required.
Requirements:
  • A finance-related qualification is essential, accompanied by prior experience in an accounting role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, clients, and other departments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on employee development and team motivation.
Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of £35,000, depending on experience, along with a 35-hour week and the opportunity to work from home two days per week.
