Job Description: Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Assistant to join our client school in Sheffield. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work with students across the whole school, providing behaviour support and helping to create a positive learning environment. This role involves working closely with teachers to assess pupils' work and provide constructive feedback, as well as participating in extra-curricular activities and school events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with tailored support on a 1-2-1 and small group basis
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess pupils' work and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in and sometimes lead extra-curricular activities and school events
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to improve skills and knowledge


Requirements:
  • Essential: Experience working in a primary school or young people setting
  • Desirable: Additional qualifications or training relevant to primary education, Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or SEN qualification, experience in supporting children with complex behaviours
