Senior Biomedical Scientist Opportunity

Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology Team. As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality pathology services and contributing to the development of new diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting, ensuring high-quality results and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and procedures, driving innovation and excellence in our laboratory.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining good relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of new diagnostic procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient safety.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the HCPC and relevant laboratory experience in Haematology or Biochemistry.
  • Excellent communication and team player skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good working knowledge of analytical equipment and techniques, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Able to maintain accurate records and provide high-quality results, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
