Cloud Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead strategic governance, planning, and documentation initiatives within our client's cloud infrastructure. This role will focus on Microsoft Azure, with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform knowledge being highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be required to work onsite in Sheffield, UK for 2 days per week, leading a team of cloud experts to ensure the client's cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cloud governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives to optimize cloud infrastructure and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven expertise in governance frameworks, risk management, and infrastructure documentation.
  • Experience working with key Azure technologies such as Landing Zones, Azure Networking, ExpressRoute, Azure DevOps, Azure AD, RBAC, Azure Policies/Guard Rails, and FinOps.
  • Familiarity with ITIL Foundation processes and procedures.
