Our graduate experience programme, Shape A Life, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated graduates to join our team as SEN Teaching Assistants. As a key member of our supportive learning environment, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students with a range of SEN, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other learning difficulties.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide tailored support to students, adapting lessons and resources to meet their needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social and emotional well-being.
  • Support students in developing independence, self-esteem, and social skills.
  • Collaborate with the SENCo and other staff to monitor and track student progress.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your understanding and skills in SEN support.


**Requirements:**
  • Completed bachelor's degree (any subject background)
  • Genuine passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Eager to gain experience working with children or individuals with SEN (or already have experience - desirable but not essential).
