Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

ATA Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting reactive maintenance and performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical machinery, high-pressure boilers, pumps, valves, weighers, baggers, and flow wraps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct reactive maintenance and PPM on mechanical machinery, including high-pressure boilers, pumps, valves, weighers, baggers, and flow wraps.
  • Fix and maintain fast-paced industrial production machinery, including gears, motors, conveyors, and bearings.
  • Work alongside production staff and shift supervisors to ensure smooth production operations.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical engineering apprenticeship time served or qualified to NVQ L3.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
