Job Overview

In this exciting role, you will be working as an Echocardiography Specialist at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. Your primary responsibility will be to perform and report adult echocardiograms in a variety of settings.

Main Duties:
  • To conduct and analyze adult echocardiograms with minimal supervision.
  • To work collaboratively with consultant cardiologists performing transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and left ventricular outflow tract assessments when experienced or after training.
  • To provide technical support and guidance to junior staff members, adhering to the British Society of Echocardiography's standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. To prepare and hook up patients for echocardiogram procedures.
  2. To analyze and report results accurately and promptly.
  3. To supervise and train junior staff members in echocardiogram procedures.
  4. To participate in the development of complex echocardiography services, including DSE and TOE lists.

We offer competitive compensation and benefits for this role, with an estimated salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
