Job Summary:
Spire Healthcare is seeking an experienced Scrub Nurse to join their bank theatre team at Spire Washington Hospital. As a key member of the theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of the theatre unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients undergoing elective procedures, including ENT, neurological, orthopaedic, laparoscopic, ophthalmic, gynaecology, and urology.
- Prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery, ensuring instrumentation, equipment, and supplies are in place.
- Complete patient records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Run a theatre list without supervision.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an ODP or NMC registration as a Nurse.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Interest in development and progression, with opportunities to complete the surgical first assist course and specialise in surgical areas.
