About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Second Chef to join our team at The Royal Hotel, Weymouth. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of menus, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow and effective communication.
  • Monitor and maintain food safety and health and safety standards, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas, ensuring alignment with company standards and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction, responding to feedback and concerns.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of food safety regulations and record-keeping.
