RG Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager of a growing SME in Crewe. This is a new role created to assist with the increasing workload of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the sales ledger, including setting up customer accounts, producing sales ledger invoices weekly and monthly
- Provide credit control support and maintain accurate records
- Process purchase ledger transactions, including inputting invoices and making supplier payments
- Perform bank and customer supplier reconciliations
- Assist with payroll administration
- Undertake other ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Manager
- Experience with SAGE accounting software is highly desirable
- Previous payroll experience is an advantage
- AAT part or full qualification is a plus
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel
- Flexible working hours, including 8/4, 8.30/4.30, and 9/5 shifts
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
