Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support the classroom teacher in delivering tailored learning experiences for students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt resources as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students, fostering independence and confidence.
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting any concerns to the teaching staff.
  • Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred).
  • Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or special education (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £85-95 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
