Home Purchase and Acquisitions Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Purchase and Acquisitions Officer to join our team at Hatched Recruitment Group. As a key member of our Housing Development Team, you will be responsible for financial assessments for potential homeowners and ensuring the smooth transition into their new homes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough financial assessments to determine the affordability of potential homeowners for regeneration rehousing and the Council's discretionary purchase schemes.
  2. Develop and implement procedures for managing and engaging with homeowners affected by regeneration, addressing their concerns and seeking solutions to difficulties they may face in relocating.
  3. Process and serve demolition Notices in accordance with legislation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  4. Manage end-to-end processes of the Council's Cash Incentive schemes, shared equity, equity loan, and social home buy schemes, as well as stair casing of shared ownership.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will also require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
