Recruitment Administrator Apprenticeship

Job Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Recruitment Coordinator to support our recruitment administration team. As a key point of contact, you will be responsible for managing initial enquiries, supporting candidates through the recruitment journey, and ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and place job adverts on relevant job platforms using agreed Trust templates.
  • Conduct online checks for shortlisted candidates.
  • Complete pre-employment checks for new employees, adhering to KCSiE and Trust policies.
  • Refer any issues with pre-employment checks to the Head of Recruitment and Resourcing or relevant People Partner.
  • Support the Head of Recruitment and Resourcing in preparing and ordering marketing materials.
  • Ensure correct branding is used throughout all recruitment activity.
  • Deal with ad hoc recruitment issues involving recruiters and candidates.
  • Issue contracts of employment to new employees ahead of their start date.
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure new starters are accounted for and induction paperwork is completed.
  • Enter new starters into the Trust's payroll system in a timely manner.
  • Ensure HR electronic files are compliant with relevant legislation and assist with audit processes.
  • Verify recruiting managers have completed safer recruitment training and maintain central records.
  • Ensure all correspondence and documents are saved correctly on HR Shared Drives.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection principles at all times.
Requirements

GCSE grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths is essential. The successful candidate will be studying the HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship standard qualification.
