  • Site Management: Oversee the daily operations of our waste management sites, ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all sites are compliant with relevant regulations and standards, and that all staff are aware of and adhere to safety procedures.
  • Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure that our sites operate to the highest standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Essential:
    • Good IT skills, familiar with MS Office or equivalent packages
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Good numeracy and literacy skills
    • Experience dealing with customers
    • Experience in contract management, waste operations management, and supervision of employees in the waste management industry or similar workplace
    • Experience delivering training packages
    • Valid UK driver's licence for driving up to a 3.5 tonne vehicle, access to own vehicle, and insurance for business use
  • Desirable:
    • Valid and relevant Certificate of Technical Competence with evidence of continued competence
    • Experience driving a vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes
