About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Training and Competency team as a Training and Competency Administrator. This is a permanent role that will report directly to the Training and Competency Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Training and Competency Manager with team meetings, agendas, and minutes.
  • Maintain the departmental rota for absence and holiday management.
  • Administer the booking of external training with our providers, raising purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Support the administration of our Competency Management System under the guidance of the Training and Competency Coordinator.
  • Track training bookings from enquiry to completion.
  • Work closely with the HR team to organize new starter integration.
  • Scan and upload training records onto our Competency Management System.
Requirements
  • Previous administration experience, ideally in a training role.
  • Strong understanding of training and competency processes.
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external team members.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Good listening skills with high levels of attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize your own workload.
  • Working knowledge of Competency Management Systems, such as Skillstation.
