Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Position

Baltic Recruitment is delighted to support a well-established manufacturing client in finding a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment, improving machine efficiency and adhering to planned maintenance.
Main Responsibilities:
- FOLLOW ROUTINE PREVENTATIVE AND PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS.
- SOLVE EQUIPMENT ISSUES USING EFFECTIVE FAULT DIAGNOSIS SKILLS.
- IMPLEMENT IMMEDIATE CONTAINMENT TOGETHER WITH LONGER TERM INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS.
Key Requirements:
- MUST BE TIME SERVED WITH A MECHANICAL BIAS.
- PLC EXPERIENCE IS DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL.
The Package:
- £42,000 per annum starting salary, increasing after training/probation period.
- A 6-2, 2-10 shift pattern may be required with additional shift allowance.
- 26 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
