Cadent Gas Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to join their Energy Ops team in the North West.

Job Overview

This exciting opportunity involves undertaking a wide range of activities related to the maintenance, modification, and repair of Instrumentation and Electrical systems across all gas transportation assets throughout the Network.

The successful candidate will have experience in an Instrumentation and or Electrical environment in the provision of an operational maintenance service which must be delivered in a safe, cost-effective, and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Asset Health condition of Electrical &/or Instrumentation equipment & systems in fault reporting.
  2. Participate in E&I standby rota to maintain standards of service.
  3. Supervise where appropriate contractors or third parties to ensure quality of work is delivered in a safe manner.
  4. Work within and promote strong team working relationships across all National Grid activities to achieve business objectives and improve performance.
