Community Care Specialist for Special Needs Children

Dunbar Education Recruitment Agency is currently partnering with a dedicated SEN school in Bedford to find a skilled Community Care Specialist to work with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Deliver Keywork Sessions: Develop and implement tailored keywork sessions to meet the unique needs of each student, focusing on building positive relationships and promoting self-esteem, independence, and social inclusion.
- Teaching and Learning Support: Collaborate with teachers to enhance pupil achievement, assist in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities, and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements:
- Essential Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in a school or educational setting, preferably working with children or young people with SEN; DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one; and a valid UK driving licence.
Compensation Package: Our estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
