Job Description

This challenging role requires a skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to work in a dynamic environment. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventative maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience in a similar role. You will be working on a variety of components, including sensors, motors, relays, and safety circuits, as well as mechanical parts like belts, bearings, rollers, spindles, and drives.

A strong understanding of PLC systems and fault diagnostics is essential for this role. The successful candidate will also have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We are offering a competitive salary of £46,000 per annum, plus overtime opportunities. This is a fantastic chance to join a consistently growing business with a long history and a strong family feel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshooting of issues and performing preventative maintenance tasks
  • Repair and replacement of electrical and mechanical components

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of PLC systems and fault diagnostics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
