Gas Engineer Position

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading national heating contractor operating within the private sector. They require self-employed heating engineers for an ongoing service and repair contract in the Mansfield and Sutton areas. The contract involves annual service visits, landlord gas safety records, and central heating repairs. Workload includes 6-8 pre-booked appointments per day. The commitment is a minimum of 3 days per week, with up to 5 days available plus optional weekends and evening call out available at enhanced rates. The contract length is ongoing, with weekly payments made one week in arrears. Rates include:
\t* Annual Service Visit (Annual Gas Safety check): £23.06 per appliance
\t* Repairs: £41.00 per completed property (full van stock and parts supplied)
\t* Linked Repair: £30.75 (if repair required at Annual Gas Safety Check)
\t* Long Duration: £120.00

Optional out-of-hours and weekend work is available at enhanced rates. Key benefits include:

\t* Flexible workload, 6-8 jobs per day plus the ability to request additional jobs from planning team
\t* All appointments are pre-booked via tablet device (provided).
\t* Tablet includes Exsol computer diagnosis system which when used will diagnose system and boiler faults within 10 checks.
\t* Van stock, PPE, uniform, and kit supplied.
\t* Long-term ongoing contract with consistent regular work all year round.

Requirements:
\t* 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
\t* ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
\t* Side Panelled Van (plain or sign written)
\t* Gas Safe Registration
\t* Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
\t* £2m Public Liability Insurance
