About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong focus on security and customer service. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for managing access control, patrolling the site, and responding to incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage access control for employees, visitors, and contractors
  • Patrol the site on foot to deter and detect stock loss
  • Deal professionally with incidents, including positive searches
  • Respond to customer requests and queries
  • Maintain records using computer- and paper-based systems
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security
  • Five years' checkable history and references
  • To pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards
Desirable Qualifications:

A Security CCTV license and experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

What We Offer:

We provide full training, uniform, health and safety equipment (PPE), on-site refreshments, and free car-parking.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time, permanent role with a 48-60 hour working week.

Pay and Benefits:

The hourly rate is £12.50, and we offer a company pension and on-site parking.
