Raphael's Nursery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner to lead our team of childcare professionals in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Nursery Practitioner Lead, responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery and ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of all children in our care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of childcare professionals in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
  • Ensure the nursery operates within the guidelines set by Ofsted and other regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in risk assessments throughout the day to ensure the nursery is a safe environment and complies with safeguarding procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement activities that meet the needs of all children.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents/carers and other stakeholders to ensure open communication and partnership working.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and lead others.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • An understanding of the EYFS framework and its application in practice.
