Groomfield Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled professional to oversee the maintenance of plant and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the setup and execution of planned preventative maintenance procedures.
  2. Undertake planned preventative maintenance as required.
  3. Respond promptly and efficiently to breakdowns.
  4. Set up and execute emergency procedures for machine breakdowns.
  5. Minimize risks associated with maintenance issues.
  6. Ensure all software is backed up and stored correctly.
  7. Provide clear work instructions for key equipment.
  8. Adhere to company policies and Health and Safety regulations.
  9. Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to analyze downtime and improve equipment effectiveness.

Requirements:

  1. Formal qualifications in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
  2. Experience in emergency repair situations.
  3. Knowledge of fault finding/programming ABB robots and Siemens PLCs.
  4. Experience with Fanuc Robots.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  6. Computer literacy in Microsoft applications.
  7. A full, current UK driving licence.
