**About the Role**

Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Data Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts (EA). As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures that support our security information and event management (SIEM) system.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Linux administration and a strong understanding of computer networks. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify security anomalies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data architectures to support our SIEM system
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex data flows
  • Develop optimized SPL code to improve system performance
  • Collaborate with security analysts to understand their needs and build solutions to enhance their ability to find data and build security detections

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in security data engineering
  • Proficient in Linux administration
  • Strong understanding of computer networks and data architectures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Certifications in Splunk or other relevant security tools are a plus
