Accounts Assistant

About the Role

The Simpson Booth team is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic accounting department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced Financial Controllers and Management Accountants, ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchase invoices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Purchase invoice processing and ledger maintenance
  • Effective communication with suppliers regarding payment dates and expectations
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Investigation and resolution of invoice queries/disputes
  • Assistance in payment run preparation
  • Compilation of information for annual audits and ad-hoc reviews
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines and plan workload accordingly
  • Proficiency in IT, including Excel
