Relais & Châteaux at Thornbury Castle is seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Demi Chef De Partie. The selected candidate will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle.
We operate 7 days a week, serving breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner, and Sunday lunch as well as the occasional wedding and functions.
Our company goal is to deliver "refined and personalised hospitality" to enable our hotel to be a place where all guests can relax, enjoy themselves and have a break from normal life.
Key Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will be a strong commis chef looking to progress and be part of an exciting project.
- Experience in a 3 AA Rosettes within a similar role is highly desirable.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and service in a particular section, supporting the team and helping colleagues.
- They will bring a calm mature approach with a resilient nature that thrives under pressure.
- A natural ability as a chef with outstanding attention for detail is essential.
- The dedicated team player will have strong communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised and using own initiative.
- The ideal candidate will strictly follow all food safety and health & safety procedures.
