Job Summary:

SolviT Recruitment Ltd is seeking reliable and flexible Class 2 drivers to join our team on an ad hoc and long-term temporary contract basis. As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times, completing daily checks, and reporting any vehicle defects. You will also be responsible for loading and securing goods, carrying out multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times, completing daily checks and reporting any vehicle defects.
  • Load and secure goods correctly before moving the vehicle.
  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner, adhering to drivers' working time regulations.
  • Double-check deliveries with customers, providing a polite and helpful experience, and obtaining relevant signatures and paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Class 2 licence, current DQC card, and Digital Tachograph card.
  • At least 12 months of experience on UK roads.
  • No more than 6 points on your driving licence (no IN DR or DD codes).
  • Physical fitness.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13-£17.
  • Flexibility with ad hoc shifts or full weeks.
  • Weekly pay via SolviT Recruitment Ltd.
