About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our Structures team at Forseven, a pioneering company revolutionizing the electric vehicle industry. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of sustainable mobility solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural elements for our iStream frame, working closely with the structures design team and senior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed drawings, assembly drawings, and solid models using Catia V5, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work with minimal supervision to deliver designs on time, while maintaining a high level of engineering quality and responsibility.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our designs and processes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in designing for the automotive or motorsports industry, with a strong understanding of structural bodies, load paths, and joining techniques.
  • Proficiency in Catia V5, with experience in creating drawings to standards BS8888 and ASME Y14.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive projects forward and influence stakeholders.
  • A passion for innovation, sustainability, and making a positive impact on the environment.
