Job Title:

Registered Manager - 4-Bed Children's EBD Service

Location: Derby

Salary: £45,000 per annum (DOE)

Bonus: Performance-related bonus of up to £4,800 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (with on-call responsibilities outside of working hours)

Kongston Noble is seeking a Registered Manager for a 4-bed children's residential service in Derby, specialising in supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference.

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and regulations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated team to deliver outstanding care and support
  • Create and manage individual care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding processes
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively
  • Maintain strong relationships with external agencies, families, and local authorities
  • Manage on-call duties outside of regular hours
Requirements:
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People's Services) is essential
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting, with a proven track record of Ofsted compliance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of current legislation and best practices in children's residential care
  • Full UK driving licence is required
