The Overview

Job Title: Recruitment and HR Administrator

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000

Location: Heckmondwike

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Your typical day:
  • Advertising vacancies by drafting and posting adverts.
  • Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships.
  • Arranging and attending recruitment fairs and other events to enable the company to become the employer of choice for those seeking roles in their industry.
  • Receiving & reviewing CVs and applications and creating a shortlist based on knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics.
  • Organising interviews for candidates at suitable times.
  • Preparing offer letters, contract terms and conditions in consultation with HR.
  • Ensuring compliance for recruitment of employees and administration, including overseeing reference requests, DBS checks, and application documentation.
  • Verifying information from new and potential employees.
  • Recruiting apprentices and candidates.
  • Reviewing recruitment policies.
  • Arranging inductions for new staff.
  • Supporting the HR function with minute taking for meetings and general HR administration.
What are we looking for?
  • Prior experience within Recruitment or HR.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
