About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Hays Construction and Property. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for a full spectrum of tasks, including calculations and liaison with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for building services projects
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and requirements
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in building services or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of CAD/Revit software and design principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 to £60,000 depending on experience, as well as:

  • Car allowance or company car
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas week off
