Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Nursery Manager in the effective day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging experiences for children, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, and carers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support the training and development of staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional childcare practice.
  • Contribute to the identification of training needs and the development of training plans, ensuring staff are equipped to meet the needs of our children.
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in achieving agreed occupancy targets, ensuring the nursery remains a popular choice for families in the local area.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
