Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Core Analytics team at Roku, a leading provider of streaming services. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and monitoring KPIs to guide the growth of our Search product.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, with expertise in SQL, SAS, R, Python, or other programming languages. They will also have hands-on experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.

About the Team

The Core Analytics team is responsible for providing data-driven insights to support business decisions at Roku. We collaborate closely with our Product and Engineering teams to deliver the best search experiences to our customers and maximize the value proposition for the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and monitor KPIs to guide the growth of Roku's Search product
  • Analyze data to identify trends and drive business decisions
  • Develop data pipelines to power automation, validation, and reporting

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or Mathematics
  • 5+ years of experience in search, consumer product, digital media, or entertainment industries
  • Expertise in SQL, SAS, R, Python, or other programming languages to query data and perform analysis
  • Hands-on experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Looker
