Job Title: Cover Supervisor (Secondary School)

We are seeking a motivated and confident Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant secondary school in Stafford. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and supervising students in the absence of the teacher, ensuring they follow pre-set lesson plans and complete assigned work. You will also be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and collaborating with teaching staff to support student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Supervision: Manage and supervise students in the absence of the teacher
  • Lesson Delivery: Ensure students follow pre-set lesson plans and complete assigned work
  • Student Engagement: Keep students focused and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Subject Flexibility: Cover a variety of subjects across the secondary curriculum
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with teaching staff and support student progress

  • Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential
  • Strong classroom management and leadership skills
